Our fabulous friends treated us to a night at the Hollywood Bowl. What could be better?

This mega-surf competition is held at the Huntington Beach pier. Brett Simpson won for the men; Carissa Moore won for the women. The Peanut took top honors for “best use of a binky.”

This is that game where you manipulate a claw into a tub of stuff animals to hopefully snag a prize. Except that this claw goes into a tank of live lobsters.
It’s $2 a try and available at The Fish Bucket in Dana Point. If you catch the lobster they cook it for you.
